Getting to Tall Ship Celebration in Bay City is a breeze!

From I-75, take Exit 162A for US-10 East towards Downtown Bay City. US-10 turns into Thomas Street and crosses Veterans Memorial Bridge. At the third stop light, turn left on Madison Avenue. Follow Madison Avenue approximately .6 miles to Woodside Avenue. Turn right on Woodside and the FREE parking area at General Motors Powertrain will be on the left.

From US-10, take US-10 East until it ends in Bay City. US-10 turns into Thomas Street and crosses Veterans Memorial Bridge. At the third stop light, turn left on Madison Avenue. Follow Madison Avenue approximately .6 miles to Woodside Avenue. Turn right on Woodside and the FREE parking area at General Motors Powertrain will be on the left.

(East Side)

A free parking area is provided at General Motors Powertrain (1001 Woodside Avenue, Bay City).

Complimentary, handicap-accessible shuttles from Bay Metro will move guests from the parking area to the main gate at Wenonah Park (East side). A separate shuttle will move guests from Wenonah Park (East side) to Veterans Memorial Park (West side).

We recommend that anyone needing assistance utilize the free parking area and shuttle system. Handicap parking spaces are NOT available near the entrance to the festival.

(West Side)

A limited number of free parking spaces is available on the West side near the festival. We recommend utilizing the free parking area on the East side and the Bay Metro shuttle system to access both sides of the festival.

A designated parking area for Appledore sail-away passengers and Tall Ship Celebration Sponsors (with parking pass) will be at the entrance of Liberty Harbor Marina (215 John F Kennedy Drive, Bay City).

A free, handicapped-accessible shuttle service to and from the GM Powertrain parking area and back and forth across the river between Wenonah and Veterans Memorial Parks is the easiest way to get around Bay City and Tall Ship Celebration. RV/Motorhome Sites Available
If your Tall Ship Celebration travel plans include an RV/motorhome, consider staying with us! Limited spots are available Wednesday—Saturday evenings, July 17—20. Check in after 12:00 p.m. and check out at 10:00 a.m. These “dry camping” spots do not include water or electricity and are not available for tents. There are 20 riverfront sites at $40 per night and 40 additional sites for $30 per night. Click here to reserve your space today! A 2-night minimum stay is required. Infant Rock & Rest Station (Available in both parks)
A cool, comfortable and private environment with changing tables and rocking chairs is provided for parents of young, nursing children.

First Aid/Comfort Stations (Available in both parks)
Providing basic first aid services. For medical emergencies, please call 911 immediately and give your location within the festival.

Vets Park (West side): At the warming house/pavilion


Sign Language Interpretation Services (Wenonah Park)
A limited number of sign language interpreters will be available for hearing-impaired guests. Please call VOICE at 989.607.2291 for more information.

Dog Sitting Service
(Available in both parks)
Tall Ship Celebration and the Humane Society of Bay County have teamed up to offer dog sitting services Friday – Sunday, July 19-21, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. A limited number of kennels are available and owners are responsible for checking in on their dog every two hours. No pets are allowed inside the festival. ($20 for 2-hours, $5/hour after 2 hours)
